Fantastic Services is a leading service company operating in more than four countries. My main focus is the UK market, where I work as an SEO specialist. I have worked on more than 100 services, ranging from general and specialized cleaning to gardening, maintenance, and both domestic and commercial solutions. 

Serving as an umbrella organization, the company encompasses more than 100 affiliated websites and businesses. In my role, I have contributed to both ad-hoc and ongoing projects for 46 additional branded and non-branded websites.

My Journey With Fantastic Services

When I walked in on May 13, 2023, the SEO foundation was there—but the potential was through the roof. I dug into crawl reports, mapped out keyword opportunities, and rallied the dev and content teams around a unified growth plan. By month three, we were already crushing technical clean-ups; by month six, local pages were popping up like mushrooms after rain. Two years later, I’ve turned hypotheses into playbooks, experiments into wins, and processes into repeatable systems that scale.

How I Helped

SEO Tasks

  • Rolled out a massive project launching 3,886 new local service pages, complete with SEO and content best practices baked in.

  • Responsible for managing over 200 diverse service pages across the UK for our Area Developer Franchises (ADF) and Fantastic Services-owned London pages, successfully achieving top 5 rankings on SERPs, including multiple pages securing the No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 positions.

  • Reviewed 46 websites (branded and non-branded) with SEMrush to fix site health issues and uncover growth opportunities.

  • Rewrite and Optimised  the General Cleaning Islington page to enhance its on-page SEO and UX for better engagement.

  • Submitted over 1,600 directory listings for branded FS websites to build high-authority backlinks and boost local search visibility.

  • Found and submitted 100+ directory links for non-branded sites to expand reach and improve domain trust.

  • Built and implemented a contextual internal linking strategy across 86 city pages to boost crawlability and relevance.

  • Strategically linked 949 nearby service areas, creating a stronger internal web and driving users toward related services.

  • Created a keyword expansion plan for the End of Tenancy Cleaning service, designed to unlock new traffic and ranking potential.

  • Optimised PPC landing pages to better align with ad intent and improve both Quality Scores and conversion rates.

  • Developed AI-driven prompts to simplify and scale metadata and on-page SEO for service pages.

Technical & Implementation

  • Designed and implemented a gardening service offer block using HTML & CSS for local pages — clean design, fully responsive, and user-focused.

  • Migrated 10 core commercial pages to Gutenberg, making them easier to manage, edit, and optimise.

  • Added pricing shortcodes across local pages to keep pricing consistent, scalable, and easy to update.

  • Ran A/B tests on AI-generated title tags, meta descriptions, and content blocks across 42 removal service area pages in the DEV environment.

  • Optimised metadata and headings using AI prompts for 42 cleaning area pages to test performance at scale.

  • Handled ad hoc fixes like updating service page pricing, adjusting ADF cards, and resolving HTML bugs—quick, clean, and effective.

  • Created and maintained the ADF rank tracking sheet, ensuring real-time visibility into performance metrics.

Content Tasks

  • Created 246 FAQs (with unique, localised answers) across 42 cleaning area pages and handled the full implementation—built to inform and rank.

  • Proofed and polished content across 86 city pages while rolling out an internal link strategy that enhances SEO and UX.

  • Developed 1,290 hyper-local content topics, each with a clear 200-character starter description to help writers create content that hits the mark.

  • Built a conversion-focused content audit report packed with data-driven insights and actionable recommendation.

  • Crafted a content strategy for Allans Gardeners, designed to grow local visibility and support SEO efforts across new areas.

  • Created branded podcast episodes using Google NotebookLM, opening up a new content channel to connect with potential customers.

Research & Development

  • Ran deep-dive competitor research on ADF pages, focusing on how the top 3 competitors ranked for the core keywords—insights that shaped future optimisation.

  • Put together a video content strategy for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, helping the brand expand into visual-first platforms.

  • Built a plan to recover lost rankings for the Locksmith service page by analysing traffic dips and SERP shifts.

  • Created and tested AI content shortcodes that automatically generate custom metadata and paragraph content—fast, scalable, and consistent.

The Outcome

Over the past two years at Fantastic Services, the SEO team I was part of achieved significant, measurable improvements. Bounce rate decreased by 3.57%, which consequently raised the engagement rate by the same amount. The organic conversion rate improved substantially, rising from 4.87% to 7.35%. Additionally, by implementing AI-driven workflows, we reduced manual optimization time by more than 40%, enabling the team to dedicate more focus to strategic initiatives.
